Who we are and how to reach us
Lotometer is an independent informational site. For any privacy question write to office@nnmm.dev.
In short
We ask for no registration and create no user accounts. The site is funded by ads shown by Google, and we also measure visits with Google Analytics. Google uses cookies and similar identifiers for both. These are the only places where data about your visit goes to a third party, and we ask for your consent to both.
Cookies the site sets itself
These are essential. The site does not work without them, so we do not ask for consent to them:
- a session cookie, so that checking a combination and forms work from one click to the next;
XSRF-TOKEN, which protects forms against abuse;locale, the language of the site;gdpr_consent, your cookie choice, so we do not ask again on every visit.
The site sets the Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _ga_*) only if you
agree to visit measurement (see below).
Advertising (Google AdSense)
Ads on the site are shown by Google, as a third party. Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers to show ads, measure their performance and prevent fraud, and, with your consent, to show ads tailored to your earlier visits to this and other sites. Google processes this data as an independent controller, under its own rules: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
Consent. Ad scripts are not loaded until you answer the consent question. Visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked by Google's consent message (a platform certified under the IAB TCF standard); if you decline there, Google may show limited, non-personalised ads. All other visitors are asked by our own cookie bar; if you decline there, ads are not loaded at all.
How to change your choice. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the "Privacy settings" button at the bottom of every page. You can also turn off personalised ads in Google's ad settings.
Visit statistics (Plausible)
We count the total number of visits, the most read pages and the country a visit comes from with Plausible, which runs on our own server. Plausible sets no cookies, builds no visitor profile and does not store the IP address: from it and from browser data it makes a daily hash that changes every day, so not even the same person can be followed from one day to the next. That is why we do not ask for consent to it. The data does not go to any third party.
With the same tool we also count which features are used (checking a combination, the generator, the simulator, choosing a country and a game) and for which game, but never the numbers you enter.
Visit measurement (Google Analytics)
To know which pages, games and tools are used, we measure visits with Google Analytics, loaded
through Google Tag Manager. It records, for example, the pages opened, the length of the visit,
the type of device and browser, and the approximate location (country or city). For this it sets
the _ga and _ga_* cookies, which last up to two years. Google processes
this data on our behalf, under the Google privacy
policy.
Consent. Neither Google Tag Manager nor Google Analytics is loaded until you answer the consent question, and it is asked the same way as for ads: Google's message for visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, our own bar for everyone else. Measurement cookies are set only if you agree. If you decline, Google Analytics sets no cookies and receives only limited signals without any identifier that could link your visit to an earlier one ("Consent Mode"), from which Google estimates the total number of visits. You change or withdraw your choice with the "Privacy settings" button at the bottom of every page.
Record of consent
When you answer on our bar, we store a randomly generated identifier, your choice and the language of the page, as proof of which choice was made. The record contains no IP address. Google's message stores your choice in its own cookies.
Checking combinations
When you check a combination, we record only the numbers entered and a pseudonymous key derived from the session identifier (a cryptographic hash), to limit abuse and to see which combinations are popular. We do not store the IP address; only its hash is used, temporarily, to limit the number of requests. The record contains no name, email address or anything else by which you could be recognised.
My numbers
Combinations you keep with the "save these numbers" button stay only in your browser, in the device's local storage (localStorage), so that the game's page can compare them with each new draw. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. Delete them with the delete button on the game's page, or by clearing the site's data in your browser.
The dates you enter on the "Birthdays on the ticket" page are used only to form the numbers of a combination. We do not store them, log them or send them to anyone; they never reach the page address, the share text or the visit measurement.
Server
Like any web server, ours may temporarily log technical data about requests (for example the IP address and time of access), for security and troubleshooting.
Your rights
You have the right to request access to data about you, its correction or erasure, and to withdraw your consent. To do so, write to office@nnmm.dev. For data processed by Google, contact Google through the links above. If you believe your rights have been violated, you can lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country; each country's version of this policy names its authority.
